‘Amazing’ spring water

The campsite standpipe - one source of our ‘amazing’ spring water.

We get all our water from a borehole that taps into an aquifer about 100m below Middle Severalls, the campsite field. We had it tested for safety when it was first drilled about seven years ago. We recently decided we would get the water checked and also analysed in more detail.

The results are back - and it passed the quality test with flying colours.

In fact, the testing people asked what we were doing to it to make it so squeaky clean. Well, nothing actually.

But then it has taken a few thousand years to sink down into the limestone rock, which also means the water is high in minerals.

Anyhow, if you stay with us you’ll be able to taste this champagne of spring waters at our campsite standpipe and sinks.

Cheers!
